Austin is an Operating Partner at Acuity Capital Group (ACG) where he serves as Vice President and General Manager of Industrial Management Group. His primary responsibilities there include overseeing IMG’s operations, executing managerial initiatives, and driving efficiencies throughout the business.

Austin has worked in Commercial Banking for almost 15 years and was most recently a Senior Relationship Manager for Bank of America. He was responsible for business development, deal execution, monitoring clients risk profile and leading a team to support his clients.

His primary focus was to work with privately held businesses and assist in financing acquisitions, capital projects and working capital. He has worked with a variety of industries throughout his career including Automotive, Transportation and Logistics, Healthcare, Food and Beverage, and Professional Services.

Austin earned his MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship as well as a Bachelors degree in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

He currently resides in Zionsville with his wife, daughter and son.

Zach is an Operating Partner at Acuity Capital Group (ACG) with a focus on the oversight of ACG’s precision metal entity, ABC Metals Group, where he serves as Vice President and General Manager. His primary responsibilities at ABC include strategic marketing, business development, and executing managerial initiatives.

Prior to joining Acuity in 2021, Zach was VP of National Accounts for a metal processing and reclamation business. While there, he was responsible for developing strategic programs and managing metal waste streams for multi-site North American manufacturers. During his 8+ years in metals and manufacturing, Zach has filled roles in sales, marketing, and operations for companies large and small.

Zach earned degrees from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in Entrepreneurship & Corporate Innovation and Management.

Zach resides in Indianapolis with his wife and daughter. He spends his free time on the golf course and following Notre Dame football.

John is an Operating Partner at Acuity Capital Group (ACG) with a focus on the oversight of ACG’s industrial metal processing entity, Sparta Metal Processing (SMP), where he serves as Vice President and General Manager. His primary responsibilities at SMP include strategic marketing, business development, and executing managerial initiatives.

John has over a decade of commercial experience in industrial manufacturing. Before joining SMP, he worked for two years at the ACG portfolio company, Sumco Group. While at Sumco, he led business development and procurement efforts within the firm’s commercial department. John also spent eight years with the metal reclamation company Versatile Processing Group (VPG). During his tenure at VPG, he managed global sourcing efforts for utility, industrial, and post-consumer market segments.

John earned his MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Indianapolis, where he was a member of both the baseball and football teams.  

John currently resides in the Indianapolis area with his wife and four daughters.

Matt is the Director of Investments at Acuity Capital Group. He is responsible for all aspects of investment sourcing, evaluation, and execution, as well as portfolio company management and oversight.

Prior to joining Acuity, Matt was an interim CFO at Sumco Group. While at Sumco Group, he lead the financial and accounting functions of the company, and helped guide the company post-transaction. Matt also previously worked at Deloitte in audit, advisory, corporate finance, and consulting services.

Matt graduated from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance. He is a certified public accountant in Indiana.

Matt currently resides in Indianapolis with his wife.

Condel is an Associate at Acuity Capital Group. He is responsible for supporting all aspects of investment sourcing, evaluation, and execution, as well as assists with portfolio company management and value creation.

Prior to joining Acuity, Condel was a Commercial Banker at JPMorgan Chase. While at JPMorgan, he was responsible for growing and retaining profitable relationships within the Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (MMBSI) target space (companies with revenues between $20 and $500 million). Condel also previously spent many years within the municipal consulting space tasked with valuing and procuring federal, state & local tax incentives. During some of his tenor in public finance, Condel ran his own independent practice and secured 35 million+ in tax incentives for his clients.

Condel graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with an MBA and throughout his education he earned business degrees with concentrations in Finance, Accounting and Management.

Condel currently lives in Columbus, Indiana with his wife.

Will is a Controller at Acuity Capital Group. He is responsible for all aspects of the accounting department functions.

Prior to joining Acuity, Will was based in London working as a Global Financial Controller at Faction Collective, a ski & apparel manufacturer headquartered in Switzerland. He was responsible for the consolidation, cash-flow mgmt & forecasting, accounting & taxes of the global entities (China, Japan, US, CA & Europe). During his time the company grew its revenue at 40% a year & doubled in headcount; leading the acquisition of two companies, and the expansion of operations to China & Japan.

Will also previously worked at an aftermarket car services provider in Australia as Controller, and at Deloitte Audit in New Zealand where he is from.

Will graduated from Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand) with a Bachelors in Accounting & Commercial Law. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CAANZ).

Will currently resides in the greater Indianapolis area with his wife.
